Marian Alice Hoffman, age 78, of Hegins, died Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont. She was born in Hegins on November 23, 1927, a daughter of the late Howard C and Myrtle (Minnich) Stutzman. She was a 1945 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She retired as a Floor Lady for the former Philmark Mfg Co., Valley View. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. Her husband, William R Hoffman, died in 2001. She is survived by three daughters Cynthia wife of Ed Stutzman, Dauphin, Linda wife of Glenn Stahl, Collegeville, and Robyn wife of William Geist, Reading; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers Donald Stutzman, Hegins and Wayne "Capper" Stutzman, Hegins; and one sister Ruby Tobias, Tremont. Funeral services were held at Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26th, with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
