Click here to view the Video Tribute for Margaret Margaret Pearl Artz, age 93, of 1367 W Main St, Valley View, died Tuesday, November 29th, 2005 at the Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman. She was born in Orwigsburg, Pa on December 13, 1911, a daughter of the late Charles and Mamie (Hepler) Miller. She retired as a seamstress from the former Philmark Mfg. Co. Valley View. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. Her husband Warren L Artz died in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a son Eugene H. Artz. She is survived by two sons Clair W husband of Twila Artz, Hegins, Pa and Richard B husband of Carole Artz, Valley View; two brothers Roy Miller and Leon Miller, both of Hegins; three sisters Marie Conrad, Betty Koppenhaver, and Arlene Kimmel, all of Hegins. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 3rd, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery Hegins.
