Marcelo F Olano, age 70, of 117 Elm Street, Valley View, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

He was born on Tuesday, January 16, 1945, in Havana Cuba, a son of the late Pedro Olano and the late Estella Fundora Olano.

He was employed at MI Metals, Millersburg, and retired from the Walmart Distribution Center.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.

He was also a member of the Valley View Fire Company.

Marcelo enjoyed taking trips to Florida, his dogs, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Francisco Olano.

He is survived by his wife Linda S Klouser Olano, to whom he was married for 33 years.

He is also survived by son, Justin M Olano of Valley View; two daughters, Lucrecia Olano of Havana Cuba, and Lindsay E Olano of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Jordy Olano of Havana Cuba and Jaelin Olano of Valley View; a granddaughter, Iliana Dorvilus of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Roberto Olano and Rafael Olano both of Havana Cuba; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service wias held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Brian Beissel and Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
