Maida Catherine Krammes, age 91, of 368 S Goodspring Road, Hegins, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at home. She was born on Saturday, June 17, 1922, in Pitman, PA, a daughter of Francis Wetzel and Emma (Haas) Wetzel. She was a member of the Valley View Church of God, and a former member of the Mahantongo Fire Company and the Mahantongo Ambulance Association. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, spending time with her family and friends and her cat Snowy. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Robert M Krammes, 7 sons, Francis, Robert, Roy, Clair, Paul, John and David Krammes, one step brother, Oley Haas, and two brothers, John and Woodrow Wetzel. She is survived by 5 daughters - Ruby Header of Myerstown, Roberta Radel and her husband Daniel of Elizabethville, Joyce Krammes of Pine Grove, Patsy Krammes and Rita Krammes both of Hegins; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren . Services were held at the Valley View Church of God, on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the Church. Burial was made in Hepler's Church of God Cemetery, Pitman.
