Mae Alma Shadle, age 80, of 241 Palm Ctiy Park, Annville. passed away Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 at Triumph Hospital, Harrisburg. She was born in Porter Twp, Schuylkill County, on September 10, 1927, a daughter of the late George C and Abbie E (Carl) Witmer. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. Her husband Edgar R Shadle passed away in 2003. She is survived by a daughter Gloria L wife of Thomas Reed of Annville; a son Ronald E husband of Sandra Shadle of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a sister Marie Frantz of Annville; and three brothers Harvey Dietrich of Mechanicsburg, Benjamin Witmer of Tremont., and Carl Witmer of Good Spring. Funeral services were held at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra, at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 19th. A viewing was held from 6 to 8 pm. on Thursday, Oct 18th and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct 19th at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial was made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
