Mae J. "Nanny" Diehl, 76, of 5015 Berkley Street, Harrisburg, Pa., died on Wednesday at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. Born in Barry Township, June 22, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Carrie M. Beury Bush. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School. She was retired from the former F.W. Wolworth Co. in the Colonial Park Mall and also worked at Cromwell's Nursery after retirement. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Harrisburg, a former girl scout leader for Hemlock Council, Harrisburg, a lifetime Hershey Bears fan and a member of the Toth Class at her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer A. Diehl who died in 1991, and by two brothers, Boyd J. Bush and Ned Busch. Surviving are two daughters, Sherry M. Adams, Harrisburg, and Lynn M. Diehl, Harrisburg, two sisters, Eva J. Linebaugh, Mechanicsburg and Ann S. Miller, Gig Harbor, Washington, a grandson, Ryan L. Diehl, Harrisburg, a granddaughter, Jamie L. Adams, Harrisburg and a great grandson, Brandon L. Diehl, Harrisburg. Graveside services were held at the convenience of the family at St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, R.D. Ashland, Pa.
