Madalynne R Richards, age 86, of 209 S Goodspring Road, Hegins. passed away Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, on April 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Carl R. and Eva (Palmer) Auman. She received her RN from St. Luke's and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Lukes's and Children's Hospital Philadelphia., until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of Friedens Untied Church of Christ, Hegins. She was also a member of the Hegins Fire Co Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. He husband Horace Richards died in 1982. She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. She is survived by two nieces, a nephew, and several step children. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30th with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held from 4:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com
