Click here to view the Video Tribute for Lucy Lucy Alvena Clark, age 91, of 525 Chestnut Street, Hegins. died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Klingerstown, on Nov 7, 1915, a daughter of the late William Oscar and P. Mabel (Klinger) Klinger. She provided child care for area families for 34 years. She was of the Protestant Faith. Her husband Fred J Clark died in 1969. She was also preceded in death by a son Jackie L Clark, by four brothers Ralph, Homer, Ray, and Edwin Klinger, and by three sisters Stella Klinger, Winnie Strohecker, and Helen Wolfgang She is survived by a daughter Anna G husband of Clyde Miller of Hegins; a son Paul M Clark of Grantville; two grandsons Steven C Miller of Hegins and Phillip Clark of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; a granddaughter Sonya A Herring of Valley View; four great grandchildren; a sister Eva Brown of Leck Kill; and two brothers Paul Klinger of Gratz.and Guy Klinger of Danville. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View,at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 6th, with Rev. Philip Sabas and Pastor Brad Hatter officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
