Lucille K. Reed, 68, of 1782 W Main Street Valley View, .passed away Monday, June 18th, 2007 at the Pottsville Hospital. She was born in Orwin, on January 12, 1939, a daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Stiely) Kissinger. She was a 1956 graduate of the former Porter Twp High School, Tower City. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She is survived by her husband, Palmer H Reed, Jr., to whom she was married for 48 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters Carol A Carl and her husband Warren, Jr. of Gratz. and Sharon L Reed of York; a grandson Shawn M Carl of Carsonville; two granddaughters Amanda M Carl of Orwin and Tiffany N Reed of York; a great grandson Travis; a great granddaughter Kyla; two sisters Marcella Evans of Orwin and Janice Shade of Gratz.; and a brother Terry Kissinger of Dornsife. Memorial services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, at 10 a.m. on Thursday June 21st with Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating assisted by Rev. Curtis Zemencik. Interment was private at convenience of the family in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O.
