Lisa A.Wilson, age 39, of 417 E Main Street, Hegins, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Thursday, August 17, 1972, in Pottsville, a daughter of Juleann Snyder Schaeffer of Tower City and the late Ronald L Schaeffer. She was a 1990 graduate of Williams Valley High School. She was a dedicated compliance specialist for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission; and was very proud of her career. She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot. Lisa enjoyed camping, playing cards, knitting, shopping, and spending time with her family and her pets. She is survived by her husband Anthony M "Tony" Wilson, to whom she was married for 14 years. She is also survived by her son Zachery M Wilson of Hegins; her mother Juleann Schaeffer and her companion John Frank of Tower City; two sisters Michelle L Carl and her husband Robert of Hegins, and Elaine S Torres and her husband Steven of Minersville; her mother and father in law Mark and Karen Wilson of Fearnot; a sister and brother in law Stacey and Jeffrey White of Gratz; her niece and nephew Olivia and Josh Carl of Hegins; and her grammy Mary Brown of Hegins. Funeral services were held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot, on Friday, June 15, 2012, at 11:00 am, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church. Burial was made in St. Peter's Cemetery, Fearnot. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
