Lillian A Schwartz, age 88, of the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Sunday, October 13, 1929, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Amos Yoder and the late Emma M Schroyer Yoder.

She was a 1947 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

Lill was employed by the Twin Valley Farmers Exchange, prior to her retirement.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.

Lill enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, spending time with her husband Charlie in Delaware, and crafting.

Her husband Charles E Schwartz passed away in 2015. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by three brothers, Harvey Yoder, Amos Yoder, and Arthur Yoder; and by six sisters, Anna Coleman, Irene "Sadie" Walsh, Ruth Laudenslager, Emma Scheib, Katherine Yergo, and Alverta Dietrich.

She is survived by a brother, Lawrence Yoder of Dalmatia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, November 6, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
