Click here to view the Video Tribute for Lillian Lillian M Herb, age 94, of 1110 W Main Street, Valley View, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family, in Valley View. She was born on Friday, April 26, 1918, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Edward and Sallie Hoffman Conrad. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Lillian enjoyed knitting, ceramics, and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W Herb in 1994. She was also preceded in death by four brothers Lester Conrad, Walter Conrad, Henry Conrad, and Robert Conrad; and three sisters Katie Fuller, Gertrude Mayer, and Annie Lillie. She is survived by a son Anthony "Snook" Herb and his wife Gladys of Valle View; a daughter Cynthia L R Shankweiler and her husband Rev Carl of Valley View; a granddaughter Sheila M Klinger and her husband Brian of Klingerstown; two great granddaughters Trishia N Klinger and Alyssa M Klinger both of Klingerstown; two sisters Rebecca Schwalm of Valley View and Phyllis Kemble of Townsend, DE; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, , on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the church. Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O.
