Leon Willard Miller, age 86, of 284 N Goodspring Road, Hegins. died Tuesday, September 11th, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Orwigsburg, on July 15, 1921, a son of the late Charles M and Mamie S (Hepler) Miller. He was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School. He was a self employed coal miner and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor (Singley) Miller. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters He is survived by three sisters Marie G Conrad, Betty J Koppenhaver, and Arlene G Kimmel all of Hegins and a brother Roy H Miller of Hegins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hegins Area Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 678, Valley View PA 17983 .
