Kim Tracy Morgan, 51, of Valley View, passed away peacefully after a short but strong battle with leukemia, on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of Linda L. (Lucas) Morgan, with whom she resided and the late Clayton L. Morgan. Kim was a 1983 graduate of Tri-Valley High School in Hegins. She received her Beautician's license and teaching certificate from Empire Beauty School and owned Kim's Styling Salon at her home in Hegins. Later, Kim worked at various restaurants as a cook, server and bartender. She would say that her three boys were her world.

Survivors: mother, Linda; sons, Alexander D. Maher of Bethlehem, Andrew C. Maher of Harrisburg and Pearce S. Bixler of Valley View; sister, Jacqueline E. Miller and her husband Jamie of Pine Grove; brother, Rodney C. Morgan and his wife Melissa of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews, Hannah Morgan and Gavin and Gabrielle Miller.

Services: A visitation was held from 12:30-2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, Valley View.
