Karen M Myers, age 48, of 65 Blue Mountain Road, Schuylkill Haven, passed away at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born on Monday, July 13, 1964, in Lebanon, a daughter of Ronald and Pat Yordy Donton of Pine Grove. She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School. She was a surgical assistant for UHC Hospital, Clarksburg WV, prior to becoming disabled. She is survived by her husband Thomas B Myers, of Gratz, to whom she was married for 20 years. Surviving in addition to her parents and her husband are two sons Bradley S Donton and Kyle T Myers both of Schuylkill Haven; a grandson Aiden Donton of Pine Grove; a brother Bobby Donton of Pine Grove; two sisters Kath Warner and Pam Gehres both of Pine Grove; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Friedensburg, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at 11:00. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
