Obituary
June E Miller, age 98, formerly of Hegins, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
She was born on Thursday, April 16, 1925, in Pitman, a daughter of the late Arthur M Morgan and the late Carrie (Stehr) Morgan.
She was a 1943 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School .
She was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen.
June enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Her husband, James H Miller, passed away in 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a great grandson, Colby Mattis, and seven siblings, Albert Morgan, Dorothy Kehler, Ethel Hummel, Evelyn Rothermel, Marion Shadle, Dolly Morgan, and Shirley Morgan.
She is survived by five children, Barry J Miller of Valley View, Glenn H Miller and his wife Leslie of Berwick, Virginia J Schwalm and her husband Ralph of Hegins, Kenneth A Miller and his wife Gail of Gratz, and Darryl N Miller and his companion Rebecca Kline of Valley View; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a brother, Roger Morgan and his wife Barbara of Selinsgrove; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Zion EC Cemetery, Pitman, on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. William Danis officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to Pine Creek United Methodist Church, c/o Norman Lettich, 428 Fearnot Road, Sacramento PA 17968.
