June I Heim, age 85, formerly of Gratz, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Carolyn's House Hospice, Harrisburg.

She was born on Wednesday, October 15, 1930, in Lykens, a daughter of the late Daniel W Miller and the late Verna Shmucker Miller.

She and her late husband had owned and operated the former Heim's Body Shop in Gratz for many years.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento.

She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Glenn Chapter 425 of Lykens and the Gratz Senior Citizens.

June enjoyed singing in the church choir.

Her husband, Marlin C Heim, passed away in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Miller; and two sisters, Mary Deibert and Evelyn Smith.

She is survived by three daughters, Rose M Schwalm of Erdman, Katherine L Fitzsimmons and her husband Phillip of Miami, FL, and Judy A. Meredith and her husband Steven of Elizabethville; a son, Kim L Heim and his wife Carol of Shoemakersville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Klinger of Sacramento and Phyllis Hepler of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, on Friday, February 26, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church.

Burial was made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.
