Obituary

Judy A Hoover, age 72, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on Friday, June 23, 1950, in Joliett, a daughter of the late Ray "Checky" A Lucas and the late Lila J (Wolfgang) Lucas.

Judy was employed at Metal Industries, Gratz.

She was a member of Protestant Faith, .

Judy enjoyed dancing, caring for her cats, and spending time with her family..

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by three brothers, David A Lucas, Robin L Lucas, and Gary R Lucas.

She is survived by a son, Richard T Hoover of Williamstown; a daughter, Stacy L Hoover of Hegins; two granddaughters, Megan O Boyer and Faith E Artz both of Hegins; her ex husband, Richard E Hoover and his wife Mary of Williamstown; four brothers, Rick L Lucas and his wife Susan of Joliett, Kevin T Lucas and his wife Robyn of Donaldson, Darryl "Bimmer" W Lucas and his wife Chris of Tremont, and Barry Lucas of Birdsboro; four sisters, Debra J Cinqmars of Williamstown, Christine J Morgan and her husband Tom of Valley View, Donna E Morgan and her husband John of Valley View, and Faye Nanni of Birdsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services was held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc,, Valley View, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial was in Barry Salem Cemetery, Weishample.
