Obituary
Joyce O Wolfe, age 76, of Spring Glen, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, April 23, 1941, in Ashland, a daughter of the late James Harvey Smeltz and the late Cora Kahler Smeltz.
Joyce worked at Muskin Shoe Company, Millersburg and the Dalmatia Blouse Factory prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a daughter, Beverly Wolfe; two sons Robert Wolfe, Jr and James Wolfe; a sister, Lila Anderson; and a brother, James Smeltz.
She is survived by her husband Robert C Wolfe, to whom she was married for 57 years.
She is also survived by a daughter, Carol Herb and her husband Charles of Gratz; two sons, Randy Wolfe and his wife Christine of Spring Glen, and Mark Wolfe and his wife Shannon of Orwin; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Rev. W. Keith Rockwell officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial was made in St. Mark's Cemetery, Spring Glen.
