Click here to view the Video Tribute for Jecky John J. "Jecky" Rissinger, III, age 78, of 49 Mill Road, Sacramento, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Schuylkill Medical Center- S. Jackson, Pottsville. He was born on Wednesday, September 17, 1930 in Fountain Springs, a son of the late John J. Rissinger, Jr. and the late Bessie E (Hauck) Rissinger. He retired as a Millwright for Millwrights Local #287, Berwick. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento. He was also a member of the Valley View Gun Club, Erdman Sportsmen's Association, VFW Post 8237 Valley View, and the Valley View Fire Company. He was preceded in death by a sister Jane L Klinger. He is survived by three sons, Michael A Rissinger of Philadelphia, John J Rissinger, IV of Harrisburg, and Harry D Rissinger of Sacramento; three daughters, Cynthia L Klinger and her husband, Larry of Hegins, Patricia L Rissinger of Buffalo, MN, and Suzanne L Clark of Hegins; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a brother, Charles C Rissinger of Knoxville, TN; and a sister, Harriet H Cook of Sacramento. Memorial services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. The family received guests at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
