Click here to view the Video Tribute for John John I Huntzinger, age 67, of 911 W Maple Street Valley View, passed away Friday, September 21st, 2007 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. He was born in Hershey, on July 21, 1940, a son of the late Irvin E and A. Beatrice (Heckert) Huntzinger. He was a 1958 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and attended Kutztown University. He served in the U.S. Army. He retried from the Mechanicsburg Naval Base and was currently employed by Sterman Masser Potato of Sacramento, Pa. He was member of F&AM Valley Lodge 797 of Valley View, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Millersburg Forest #125, Schuylkill Shrine Club, and the Valley View Fire Company. He is survived by his wife Patricia M (Gribbin) Huntzinger, to whom he was married for 32 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister Sandy G Romberger of Halifax.; a nephew Michael I Romberger of Oregon; a niece Elizabeth A Stutzman and her husband Bruce of Valley View; two aunts Hannah Schwartz and her husband Robert of Hegins and Mary Miller of Hegins. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25th, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
