Jennie Mabel Long, age 91, of Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon,Pa, formerly of Willow Terrace, 800 Willow St, Lebanon,Pa. and Hegins, Pa, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Spang Crest Manor. She was born in Hickory Corners, Pa, on June 4, 1912, a daughter of the late George and Eva (Michael) Walborn. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins, Pa, and a former member of the Hegins Fire Company Auxillary. He husband John M Long died in 1972. Surviving are a son Kenneth Long of Camp Hill, Pa; five daughters Elsie Yoder of Linden, Pa, Dorothy Martin of Lebanon, Pa, Linda Weidner of Middletown, Pa, Diane McIntyre of Rock Hall, Md, and Karen Smith of Eagle River, Alaska; a sister Lena Wetzel of Danville, Pa; a brother Percey Walborn of Herndon, Pa; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy McIntyre; by a grandson Robert T McIntyre; by four brothers Ray, Lee, Charles, and Harry Walborn; and by three sisters Carrie Reitz, Bertha Donmoyer, and Mary Walborn. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan 7, 2004, at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, Valley View, Pa, with the Rev Warren Egebo officiating assisted by the Rev Roger Bucy. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, Pa.
