Obituary
Jean I Wittrock, age 99, formerly of Pitman, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Heritage Mills Personal Care Center, Tower City.
She was born on Monday, August 10, 1925, in Pitman, a daughter of the late Victor Snyder and the late Edna (Romberger) Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Warren Snyder, her second husband, Earling Wittrock, a sister, Orpha Troutman, a nephew, Ronald Troutman, and a great niece, Kelly Mervine
Jean enjoyed reading while her eyesight was good, cooking, and fishing with her husband, Earling from their boat in Florida.
She moved back to PA after her second husband passed away in 2021.
She is survived by a niece, Phyllis (Roger) Mervine; three great nephews, Kris (Wendy) Mervine, Jim (Toni) Troutman, and Rod (Dawn) Troutman; a great niece, Debra Troutman; six great great nieces and nephews; and one great great great niece.
Graveside services will be held at Zion Cemetery, Pitman, on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 3 pm, with Rev. Todd Wolfe officiating.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
