Jean A Rinda, age 85, of Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, formerly of Hegins and Cumbola, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Seton Manor.

She was born on Wednesday, April 3, 1929, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Arthur Klouser and Agnes Bixler Klouser.

She was a seamstress for area garment factories prior to her retirement.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

Jean enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her husband George B Rinda passed away in 1981. She was also preceded in death by twin infant grandchildren Shane and Shannon Brish; four sisters Dorothy Klinger, Pearl Bressler, Ruby Klouser, and Nancy Starr; and two brothers Jack Klouser and Arthur Klouser.

She is survived by three sons, Edward W Rinda and his wife Kathryn of New Philadelphia, George B Rinda of Tamaqua, and Dale R Rinda and his wife Patti of Cumbola; two daughters, Sharon M Brish of Cumbola and Ann Louise Kaledas and her husband Tony of Reedsville; eight grandchildren, Edward Rinda, Stephanie Brish, Tyler Brish, Nathaniel Rinda, Jennifer Gerhart, Tony Kaledas, Angelica Kaledas, and Corey Rinda; four great grandchildren, Emily Gerhart, Evan Gerhart, Ethan Rinda, and Hailey Rinda; a brother Theodore Klouser of Hegins; two sisters Kay Harner of Valley View and Helen Kessler of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, June 23, 2014, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
