James (Jim) Jay Wolfgang, age 75 of Klingerstown, PA passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 at his residence.

He was born March 6, 1951, in Pottsville, a son of the late George Wolfgang and Corrine (Mayer) Wolfgang.

Jim was a graduate of Line Mountain High School class of 1969 and Penn State University in 1973 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education.

He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and a member of Masonic Lodge #797 of Valley View, PA for over 50 years.

Jim was a generous, kind and caring man and a hard worker that loved farming and working with and maintaining equipment. He was so proud of his sons and adored his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margie (Moyer) Wolfgang of Klingerstown, PA; his two sons, Jason Wolfgang and his wife Suzanne; Jonathan Wolfgang and his wife Colleen; his five grandchildren: Ellie, Austin, Brady, Chloe and Sarah; his two brothers, Dale Wolfgang of Millersburg, PA, Eric Wolfgang and his wife Catherine of Mountaintop, PA; his two sisters, Mary Henrie of Punta Gorda, FL and Jill Wolfgang of Dunedin, New Zealand, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, PA on Friday September 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Pat Wirick officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Klingerstown, PA.
