Click here to view the Video Tribute for Jim James Franklin Huntzinger, age 81, of 230 Grove Drive, Hegins, passed away Friday, January 12, 2007 at the Pottsville Hospital. He was born in Hegins, on Dec. 3, 1925, a son of the late Harvey Victor and Katie (Moss) Huntzinger. He was a Coal Miner and Truck Driver. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. He is survived by his wife Grace I. (Yoder) Huntzinger, to whom he was married for 59 years. He is also survived by a son Jerry J Huntzinger of Hegins; by two granddaughters Daphne L Webberson of Stuart, VA, and Melissa A Carado of Spring Glen; by a step granddaughter Victoria M Wiest of Hegins; by three great grandchildren; by four step great grandchildren; and by two sisters Hannah Schwartz and Mary Miller both of Hegins. He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. Services were private at the convenience of the family at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Burial was be made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 375, Hegins PA 17938.
