Jacques E. "Pap" Hatter, age 70, of 310 S Goodspring Road, Hegins, Pa died Thursday, November 11th, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Hegins, Pa on April 21, 1934, he was the son of Alma D (Hartman) Hatter of Pitman and the late Ernest R Hatter. He was a 1952 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School He was the former owner of Hatter Coal Co. and Sherman Coal Co. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins and the Hegins Trap Club. His wife Iris R (Dunleavy) Hatter died in 1991. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter Alyce A wife of Glenn Leitzel, Hegins, Pa; a son Donald E Hatter, Smithfield, Va.; six grandchildren Richard Rothermel, Angela Lucas, Ryan Hatter, Rahn Leitzel, Amanda Leitzel, and Eric Hatter; three great granddaughters Shana Kissinger, Tiffany Rothermel, and Christine Rothermel. Memorial Services were held at Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins, Pa. at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 16th, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.
