Iva I. Wolfgang, age 91, of Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Valley View, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. She was born on Wednesday, December 13, 1916 in Valley View, a daughter of the late Ellsworth Wolfgang and the late Fronie (Shade) Wolfgang. She was a seamstress for the former Valley View Mfg. Co. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church,Valley View. She was also a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a former member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by three brothers Albert Wolfgang, Roy Wolfgang, and Russell Wolfgang and by two sisters Verna Kolva and Florence Schade. She is survived by several nieces and nephews Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Philip Sabas officiating. A viewing was held Monday, June 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com .
