Irvin S. Koons' Obituary
Irvin S. Koons ,age 62, of Hegins, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on Sunday, May 14, 1961, in Pottsville, PA, a son of the late Clair and Marguerite Koons. Irvin was employed at Sherman Mountain Coal Company, Tremont. He was a member of the Hegins Trap Club and the Elysburg Gun Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clair Koons and mother, Marguerite Smith Koons. Irvin is survived by his wife Mary (Brown) Koons, he is also survived by two sons, Zane Koons, Jacob Koons; daughter, Mary Koons; grandson, Synary Grose.
Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Hegins Trap Club.
