Ilene N "Toots" Miller , age 91, of Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, formerly of Valley View, passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at Schuylkill Center. She was born on Thursday, December 5, 1918, in Leck Kill, a daughter of the late Daniel Feger and Jane (Mattern) Feger. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She was also a member of the former Valley View Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley L Miller on Dec 6, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a brother Darwin Feger and a sister, Mazie Hopple. She is survived by a son Gene D Miller and his wife Joyce of Harrisburg; a grandson Michael G Miller of Dover, DE; a granddaughter Julie A Miller of Harrisburg; a great grandson Michael C Miller of Helena, Montana; and a great granddaughter Saylor Watts of Lakewood, Washington. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Friday, June 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating assisted by Rev Curtis Zemencik. A viewing was held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday at the church. Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
