Hiram Thomas Green, Jr. (81) of Barry Township quietly entered his eternal rest November 2, 2022.

Born at home on December 3, 1940, was the son of the late Hiram T. and Florence Hoover Green.

Tommy was a member of Christ's United Lutheran Church and
was instrumental in building the new church on Airport Road, Ashland.

He was a member and supporter of his local fire companies in Lavelle, Gordon, and Ashland, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the PA Game Commission.

He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School Class of 1958.

Tommy was a life-long farmer and steward of the family farm, and was well known
by many for his sweet corn and joke telling at the produce stand.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard John (1963), a
sister Patricia Schweinhart (1991), and a great grandson, Aker Green (2016).

He married his high school sweetheart, the former Rachael Sabatino, and they
celebrated 60 years of marriage on June 16, 2022.

In addition to his wife, Tommy is survived by five children; Randy Green and his wife, Lynn;
Christine Brennan and her husband, Jeff; Kathleen Krieger and her husband, Allen; Robert
Green Sr and his wife, Karen; and Amy Ruscavage and her husband, John Jr.
Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, Robert Green Jr., April Brennan, Stephanie Judy,
Dalton Green, Kyle Krieger, Laura Brennan, Leah Bucher, Courtney Krieger, Miranda Green,
Makayla Green, Megan Green, Ryan Green, Landon Green, Jillian Ruscavage, Joel Ruscavage,
and Braden Green. Eight great grandchildren along with 3 step great grandchildren,
3 nieces and several cousins.

Services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2pm with Rev. Susan Hocking officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2pm.
