Click here to view the Video Tribute for Hilda Hilda Irene Miller, age 86, of 534 E Maple Street, Hegins, passed away Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at Columbia Montour Home Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville. She was born in Valley View on November 10, 1919, the daughter of the late Albert L and Lucy (Herb) Bixler. She was a 1936 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and a graduate of Empire Beauty School, Pottsville. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Mary E Moore Chapter 372, of Pine Grove. She is survived by her husband Roy H. Miller to whom she was married for 66 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Gerald G Miller husband of Anita E Casper, Williamsport; a daughter Ann M Miller, Duncannon; a grandson Nathaniel C Casper Miller, Williamsport; two granddaughters Jody D Groshek, Smethport and Tara S Havens, Trout Run; two great grandsons; and a step sister Willetta Thatcher, Henrietta,NY. Memorial Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13th, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Interment was made at convenience of the family in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
