Hilda Magleda Donton, age 102, of Valley View, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Tremont Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born November 30, 1917, in Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Harvey and the late Mary Selara Alice Schwalm.

She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School, Class of 1936.

Hilda was a housewife, and enjoyed the time spent with all of her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Andrew's Church, Valley View.

Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd H. Donton, who passed away in 1981; and she was the last survivor out of eleven siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Carole Artz and husband Richard; two grandchildren, Bruce Artz and companion Julie of Walnutport, and Pamela Koppenhaver and husband Robert of Spring Glen; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Artz and wife Lyndie; Bryan Artz and wife Rebekah; Brooke Boud and husband Colton; and Broc Koppenhaver and wife Nicole; eight great great grandchildren, Aubery, Wyatt, Declan, and Grady Artz; Selara and Maura Boud; and Killian and Quinn Koppenhaver; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial were private.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
