Click here to view the Video Tribute for Helen Helen H. Wetzel, age 91, of 107 Grove Drive, Hegins, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her residence. She was born on Monday, August 13, 1917 in Pitman, a daughter of the late B. Frank Kehler and the late Gertrude (Kehler) Kehler. She had worked for the former Hegins Mfg. Company. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins. She was also a member of the Hegins Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and the Tri-Valley and Mahantongo Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H Wetzel in 1996; a granddaughter Kim Heller, a grandson Michael Green, three brothers Lewis, Lester, and Ralph Kehler, and two sisters Marie Palamar and Martha Nagle. She is survived by a son, Billy G Wetzel and his wife, Dianne of Newport; three daughters, Shirley J Hertzler of Carlisle, Nancy L Heller and her husband, Kenneth of Hegins, Phalem M Bloch and her husband, Ronald of Boiling Springs; eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren, two brothers, Franklin Kehler of Ocla, FL and Albert Kehler of Lebanon; four sisters, Orpha Harter of Ashland, Betty Williard of Hegins, Arlene Knapp of Tremont, and Mary Jane Herb of Valley View; and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins, on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev.William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O.
