Helen Irene Miller, age 83, of 29 S Moore Street, Elizabethville, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1926 in Valley View, a daughter of the late Wilson Morgan and the late Emma (Travitz) Morgan. She retried as a custodian for Upper Dauphin Area School District. She was of the Protestant Faith,. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E Miller in 2003; and by sixteen siblings and four step siblings. She is survived by two sons, Allen E Miller, Jr. and his wife, Ruth of Elizabethville and Clair L Miller of Elizabethville; two daughters, June J Adams and her husband, Jack of Herndon and Ruby J Shaffer and her husband, Marlin of Herndon; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, an two great great grandchildren. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
