Helen M Heckert, 81, of Nottingham Village, Northumberland, formerly of Polk Personal Care Center, Millersburg, and Spring Glen, passed away Monday, January 22nd, 2007 at Nottingham Village She was born in Philadelphia, on October 6, 1925, a daughter of the late Hunter and Florence (Craft) Freas. She retried as an Executive Secretary at Trevose Savings Bank of Bucks County, Pa. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins. She was an avid quilter and crocheter. Her husband James J Heckert, Sr. passed away June 22, 2004. She is survived by a son James J. Heckert Jr. and his wife Barbara of Herndon. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 25th, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, P.O.
