Helen Eleanor Harner, age 80, of 889 Deep Creek Rd, Ashland, Pa, died Tuesday, Nov 23, 2004, at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, Pa. She was born on July 22, 1924, in Hubley Twp, Schuylkill County, Pa, a daughter of the late John W. and Catherine (Beaver)Stine. She was a 1941 graduate of the former Hubley Twp. High School, Spring Glen,Pa. She retired as a seamstress from the former Hegins Corp., Hegins, Pa. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Weishample, Pa and the Weishample Grange. Her husband Paul H Harner died in 1981. Surviving are two daughters Virginia M, wife of Roger Wolfgang, Dover, Del and Linda C, wife of Leon Maurer, Hegins, Pa.; a son Dennis L, husband of Marcie Harner, Seltzer, Pa; a sister Mary Romberger, Klingerstown, Pa; a brother Howard Stine, Penbrook, Pa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Irene Mayer and a brother Charles Stine. Memorial services were held on Saturday, Nov 27 at 11:00 a.m. from Salem U.M. Church, Weishample, with the Rev. John Wallace officiating. Internment was private at the convenience of the family in Salem Cemetery, Weishample, Pa.
