Helen T. Adams, age 91, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Hegins, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at The Manor. She was born on Wednesday, November 15, 1916 in Hegins, a daughter of the late Francis and Fronie (Huntzinger) Morgan. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She retired as a seamstress from the former Philmark Mfg. Co., Valley View. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Adams, who passed away in 1951. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Henry and Paul Morgan; and by three sisters Myrtle Kessler, Irene Batman, and Mary Kehler. She is survived by step son, Dr. Gene R Adams of New London, CT; five step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren; a sister in law, Bernice Morgan of Enola; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
