Harriet L Wolfe, age 93, of 475 Fearnot Rd, Hegins, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Sunday, March 21, 1920, in Hubley Twp, a daughter of the late Jacob Miller and Mary Elizabeth Wolfgang Miller. She was an inspector for the former Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot; where she was also a member of the Women's Group. Harriet enjoyed listening to the Gaither's and doing word search puzzles. Her husband Elwood Z "Jiggs" Wolfe passed away in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her daughter and son in law Violet Michael and Elwood Michael; by six brothers Clarence Miller, Levi Miller, Melvin Miller, Jacob Miller, Walter Miller, and James Miller; and by three sisters Lillian Miller, Esther M Klinger, and Edna Fetter. She is survived by two grandsons Ricky Michael and his wife Lisa of Tremont and Terry Michael of Spring Glen; three granddaughters Beverly Reiner and her husband Gene of Klingerstown, Cindy Paul and her husband David of Lykens, and Sandy Weaver and her husband Ricky of Pillow; fifteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a sister in law Thelma Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 11:00 am, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Peter's Cemetery, Fearnot.
