Click here to view the Video Tribute for Harold Harold M. Miller, age 84, of 103 Wood Lane, Hegins, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, June 25, 1924 in Dalmatia, a son of the late Herman H Miller and the late Emma A (Romberger) Miller. He was a 1942 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. He was the former owner of Harold Miller and Sons Construction, Hegins. He was of the Lutheran Faith. He a member of the Hegins Fire Company, Valley View Fire Company, American Legion Post 575 Valley View, and the Valley View Gun Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera M Miller who passed away on March 12, 2008. He is survived by three sons, Bruce H Miller and his wife, Amy of Hegins, William M Miller and his wife, Tina of Hegins, Ronald L Miller of Hegins; a daughter, Jane L Tietsworth and her husband, Ed of Hegins; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren; four brothers, Lewis Miller of Valley View, Stewart Miller of Hegins, Clyde Miller of Hegins, Lamar Miller of Hegins; a sister, Mary Clark of Salisbury, Md. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Friedens Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 375, Hegins PA 17938, in memory of Harold and Vera.
