Hannah V Harner, age 89, of Schoolyard Square, Pine Grove, formerly of Valley View, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Schoolyard Square, Pine Grove. She was born on Monday, August 8, 1921, in Valley View, a daughter of the late William H and Jennie M (Klinger) Harner. She was a 1939 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and attended the former Ford School of Business, Pottsville. She was a bookkeeper for Palmer H Reed Ford, Valley View, for 50 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by two brothers, H. Stanley Harner and Warren L Harner, and by four sisters, Beulah E Goodman, Vesta M Zechman, Hilda V Menard, and Mildred M Shoemaker. She is survived by two sisters Ruby A Tobias of Millersburg and Gladys M Sertic of Zion, IL; and by several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Monday, June 20, 2011, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Donald Zechman officiating. Burial was private at the convenience of the family in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, P.O.
