Gloria Romaine Shoffler, age 56, of 53 Paul Street, Ashland, passed away Friday, January 12th, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Sacramento, Pa. on June 19, 1950, a daughter of the late Francis and Elsie (Carl) Kehler. She attended the Mountainside Assemblies of God Church, Trevorton. She is survived by her husband Harry L Shoffler, to whom she was married for 38 years. She is also survived by three daughters Corenia S Sirota fiancee of Danny Lemon of Millville, Patricia L wife of William Diehl. IV of Millville, and Sharon R wife of Robert Coombe, Jr. of Bloomsburg; by a son Brian P husband of Diana Shoffler of Trevorton; by four grandsons Robert B Swingle currently serving in the US Air Force, Robert Coombe, III of Bloomsburg, Brian P Shoffler, Jr of Trevorton, and William Diehl, V of Millville; by three granddaughters Candace Murray, Sierra Sirota, and Katelyn Diehl all of Millville; a step grandson Cody Lemon and a step granddaughter Carly Lemon both of Millville; and by six sisters Grace Sloan of Lake Pannasoffkee FL, Jean Bower of Lake Pannasoffkee FL, Lorraine Sliger of Del Valley, TX, Jeanette Metzinger of Minersville, Rita Wright of Gradin, FL, and Debra Shoffler of Gordon; and two brothers Francis Kehler of Ashland and Clair Kehler of Hegins. She was preceded in death by a son Harry L Shoffler, Jr.; a grandson Matthew Fausnaught; and by a sister Geraldine Leese. Funeral services were held at The Country Church, Hill Road, Hegins, at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 15th, with Rev. Richard Earl and Rev. Malcolm Burns officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Weishample. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
