Obituary
Gloria L Miller, age 89, of Valley View, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Premier at Susquehanna, Millersburg.
She was born on Saturday, March 17, 1928, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Melvin L Huntzinger and the late Eleanor Mae Klinger Huntzinger.
She was a 1945 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
Gloria was a trimmer in area garment factories prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
Gloria enjoyed canvas stitching, camping, and was an avid Phillies fan.
Her husband, Royle F Miller, passed away in 1993. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya K Miller; a grandson, Travis J Miller; and a brother Melvin L Huntzinger.
She is a survived by a daughter, Brenda L Schaeffer and her husband Kenneth of Valley View; by two sons, Thomas R Miller and his companion Phyllis Klouser of Valley View and Kenneth M Miller and his wife Lisa of Halifax; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Brian Beissel officiating.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
