Glennis Jean Knorr, age 68, of 1746 W Main Street, Valley View, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville, Pa. She was born on Jan. 28, 1935, in Reilly Twp, Schuylkill Co., Pa., a daughter of the late Jack and Elsie (Rosener) Kessler. She was a graduate of the former Reilly Twp. High School. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, Pa. Her husband Robert Knorr died in 1998. Surviving are two daughters Sharlene Melocheck of R.D. Ashland, Pa and Machelle Tietsworth of Valley View, Pa; and five grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan 15, at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, Pa.
