Gertrude Kathryn Deibler, age 93, of the Golden Living Center, Phoenixville, formerly of Valley View and Millersburg, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the center. She was born on Friday, April 28, 1916 in Rough and Ready, a daughter of the late Harvey Wolfgang and the late Kathryn (Mattern) Wolfgang. She had worked as a hostess and baker at the former Lykens Valley Steak House, Millersburg. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Royersford. She was also a member of the Phoenixville Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and golfing.. Her husband, Ralph S Deibler, passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by four brothers Norman, Paul, Cleon, and Guy Wolfgang; and by two sisters Elda Troutman and Iva Wolfgang. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L Poelck and her husband, Werner of Collegeville; two granddaughters, Kirsten A Bradbury of Ardmore and Kelly S Hudak and her husband, Denis of Spring City; a grandson, Eric W Poelck and his wife, Lisa of Schwenksville; two great granddaughters Devon T Poelck of Schwenksville and Hannah M Hudak of Spring City; a sister, Dorothy Schreffler of Millersburg; a brother, Ray Wolfgang of Valley View; a sister in law, Mary Alice Crabbe of San Clemente, CA; and several nieces and nephews.. Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Carl Shankweiler, officiating. Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
