George Robert Madenford, age 78, of 171 Main St, Joliett, died Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at his residence. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was a retired self employed coal miner. He is survived by his wife Grace M. (Lucas) Madenford to whom he was married for 56 years He is also survived by a son Larry R Madenford and a daughter Connie M Walters, both of Joliett; two brothers Gerald Madenford, Joliett and Charles Madenford, Jr., Tower City; 8 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Bush, one brother Francis Madenford, and by one sister Mardelle Renninger. Funeral services were private.
