Obituary
George R Kulp Jr., age 89, of Manheim, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
He was born on Monday, June 29, 1931, in Philadelphia, a son of the late George R Kulp, Sr and the late Frances (Mercer) Kulp.
He was a 1949 graduate of Germantown High School, Philadelphia.
George served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He and his father owned and operated George R Kulp's Flowers, Philadelphia.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by a grandson, Jordan Werner and a sister, Esther Rhoades.
He is survived by his wife Jane "Jenny" M (Trunk) Kulp, to whom he was married for 66 years.
He is also survived by two sons, George R Kulp, III and his wife Susan of North Haven, CT, and Michael A Kulp and his wife Paula of Collegepoint, NY; a daughter, Marylynn Kulp of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Private services with Military Honors were held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
