Frieda Mae Frieling, age 82, of 1064 W Mountain Rd, Hegins, died Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 at Manor Care, Pottsville. She was born in Valley View, on June 6, 1924, a daughter of the late Morris E and Elura A (Shadle) Coleman. She was a 1942 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and 1945 graduate of Lankeneau Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia. She was a private duty nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She is survived by her husband Herman Frieling to whom she was married for 60 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons Philip H. husband of Dorothy Frieling, Hegins, Kenneth A Frieling, Hegins, and David M Frieling, Hegins; three daughters Mary A wife of LeRoy Dunkelberger, Hegins, Susan L wife of Richard Snyder, Yorba Linda, Cal., and Ruth E wife of Thomas Harner, Lykens; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother Richard Coleman, Rozel, Kansas. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4th, with Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View. Memorial contributions can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O.
