Freida E Morgan, age 98, of Pitman, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at her daughter's home in Hegins.

She was born on Wednesday, November 12, 1924, in Pitman, a daughter of the late Harry H Willier and the late Emma (Heim) Willier.

Freida was a 1942 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

Prior to her retirement, she and her late husband operated a family farm in Pitman.

She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman.

She was also a member of Woodman of the World, Pitman and the Mahantongo Fire Company.

Freida enjoyed playing Rook, quilting, and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Robert E Morgan passed away in 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Patti J Lohr and her husband Steve of Hegins; a granddaughter, Brittany M Strohecker and her husband Andrew of Jonestown; a great grandson, Isaac A Strohecker of Jonestown; five sisters, Mary Brosius of Millersburg, Ruth Morgan of Ronks, Emma Smink of Harrisburg, Arlene Masser of Pitman, and Nancy Willier of Pitman; a brother, Bruce Willier of Leola; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Todd Wolfe officiating.

Visitation was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial was in St. Paul's EC Cemetery, Pitman.
