Frank H. Schwalm, 83, formerly of Valley View died Thursday at Manor Care Nursing Home, Pottsville. Born in Valley View, January 28, 1924 a son of the late Gurney and Mary S. Schadle Schwalm. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran He was retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, Valley View Fire Company and the ValleyView Gun Club. He was pre-deceased by his wife Margie Ney Hentz Schwalm on February 10, 1992. Two brothers Wilson and Mark Schwalm and two sisters Mary Runkle and Emma Stokes. He is survived by a son, Jeffery Schwalm, two Stepsons, William Hentz and his wife Connie and David Hentz. one sister, Catherine Warfield, a bother George Schwalm. Four Grandchildren , Brent and Julie Hentz, Mark Schwalm and Scott Runkel. Four Great Grandsons Bristyn , Garrett, Shawn and Cory. Funeral services were held Monday at 11:00 am from the Buffington Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Shankweiler. Burial was private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
